HYUNGMIN PAI
Climate-conscious curating with Hyungmin Pai: “Architecture is rarely experimental—it’s usually tied to practical needs and rigid building systems. The idea of building something experimental is very novel.”
nile koetting
How does technology reshape our bodies and rituals? We speak with artist Nile Koetting: “There’s a desire for experiences that take us out of our bodies - into a different time and feeling. I’m interested in how shared moments and spaces—whether museums, galleries, or theaters—create these feelings. For me, museums are ritual spaces where we collectively travel through time via objects.”
TOMOKO SAUVAGE
Artist Tomoko Sauvage navigates the landscape of sound through water and porcelain. Recalling her early influences: “I learned a very precious language called jazz. It’s hard to explain what it is, but there’s something about freedom.”
STEFANO RABOLLI PANSERA
Architect-curator Stefano Rabolli Pansera discusses a new way art can engage with urban and natural environments.“The Kunsthalle (Bangkok) is not a finished model: it is a space that continues to grow, shift, and redefine itself over time. Just as each exhibition leaves a physical and conceptual trace, the institution itself remains in flux, adapting to new artistic and social conditions. Through our architectural expansion, urban interventions, and global positioning, we aim to create an art institution that is not just located in Bangkok, but that actively reshapes the way we think about art institutions as a whole, where curating is not about organizing exhibitions, but about building a new cultural architecture altogether.”
