From curating architecture to urban revitalisation projects, the director of Towada Art Center, Washida Meruro shares his approach: “Collaboration is important - having worked with architects like SANAA and Atelier Bow-Wow on different projects enabled me new perspectives on architecture and urban planning. These experiences influenced how I approach curating and thinking about cities and buildings.”

Architect Yung Ho Chang takes us on a journey across his career and his approach to education: ”It is difficult to imagine that with all the advanced technology we have, that design, engineering, and construction are very much disconnected. What I want to tackle at HKU is the integration of design and engineering, which is critical for substantially improving our living environment and lowering carbon emissions.”
